The Alpha Tau Chapter hosts a speed-dating event in the fall for the GW Greek community to build the relationships between all of the fraternities and sororities. The sisters of SDT were also the first sorority to host a designer trunk sale, which occurs every semester. We also participate in many of the other fraternity and sorority philanthropy events, including Pi Kappa Alpha’s Fireman’s Challenge every spring. Our fall formal is one of the highlights of our social calendar, which also includes crush parties and themed mixers (our favorite was Anything But Clothes!) with various fraternities. This past spring, we hosted a spring break party that included an appearance by the Devil from Acapulco. Our chapter also goes on many sisterhood events such as going out to dinner, going to the movies, and taking aerobic pole dancing classes!
